SR 162 Multimodal Corridor Study
Headway was retained as the prime consultant for this multi-modal corridor study in Oroville, CA. This project was funded by a Caltrans Transit Planning for Sustainable Communities grant. Focusing on bicycle and pedestrian improvements, this study will also seek to identify practical solutions for local traffic congestion and safety issues.
Through a process of extensive public outreach and field visits, the Headway team, along with our partners, worked hard to develop innovative strategies to help improve safety for all modes, enhance the pedestrian and bicycling environments, and create a more attractive corridor. The final recommendations helped position BCAG for future funding in order to implement the recommended strategies.
